metalens data h5 file using self-generated phase

      Hi!

I would like to create a phase map  into an H5 file, and make it function with the lumerical-metalens-XXXX.dll for metalens data.
I generated myself without using lumerical solver or get_YY_phase in
      Generate_phase_map.lsf
      https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/18254409091987-Large-Scale-Metalens-Ray-Propagation

How can I generate the H5 myself?
What are the minimum necessary values required?
Is there another way to load the phase map (preferably just the phase) into OpticStudio?

      Thank you in advance.

You can generate your own phase with 3rd party tool. But it is strongly recommended that you import your data into Lumerical and save it.

h5 data has library and data format requirements

      https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034927413-h5info-Script-command

Please use Lumerical script to write it:

      h5write – Script command

      Please follow the metalens examples.

Of cource you may develop your own way to drive the data from Lumerical to OPticsStudio. Then you will need time and efforts to do it if it is different from what the examples provide.
