SubscriberI am looking to conduct a static structural analysis of the attached geometry and was wondering if anyone can suggest a suitable meshing technique for the single-body model of a Space Shuttle ET with attached Boosters. The standard mesh fails to properly generate when the boosters are joined. I have tried adjusting the default element size with no success. Both the tank and boosters are of wall thickness 5mm but internally hollow and it is required that it is all a single body so the geometry has been created in Solidworks and imported to ANSYS as a single body .STEP file. The second image shows the connection from the booster to the tank.
