SubscriberDear all, I'm trying to simulate some layers of a packed bed for a thermal storage tank. In practice i just wanna keep an high element size in the inlet/outlet zones and reduce the element size near the spheres. I built this geometry where two "lines" divide the parts and i tried to structure the mesh far from the spheres. My question is.. can i have a slower variation of the number of elements between the two zones? I think that a strong variation can cause mistakes. Sorry if it's a "strange question" but i'm a beginner here. Thank you

Look into options like Transition, Growth rate, Span angle settings. These work with adaptive sizing. I'll include the help links for these.
