I was following tutorial to analize and simulated the specimen of structural steel. In this case why on mesh menu no one singel method should be choose but it can still running to meshing. My question is what kind the method is used if I'm didn't insert method on mesh?

Hi Niko. Actually, we do not have to always choose a meshing method. We can simply specify the desired mesh size for our model right away. Also, your geometry is considered as a simple and mappable geometry, which can be meshed easily by Ansys.
