SubscriberHello,
I have problems with my mesh in Fluent. I have 2D problem (trying to simulate cavitation) and I have non-conformal mesh to save some elements, so I have divided the region into more objects. But I am not sure which mesh interface I should choose from mesh interface options. And I also get error: floating point exception. And Fluent also says that I have non-positive values of volumes.
But when I make conformal mesh of this region (having one surface body instead of two as in case of my non conformal mesh), I dont get any errors.
Could anyone help me please?
Thank you.

AdministratorHi,
I'd say this - unless you are trying to create interfaces and use them in your analysis (for MRF or sliding mesh), please use a conformal mesh. If you are planning to use this non-conformal mesh, please post some screenshots.
Also, when you create the mesh, can you check the quality of your mesh in WB meshing? What is your maximum skewness? Can you lower this number and test the interface creation in Fluent to see if your issue is resolved?
Thanks
Karthik
