Mesh generation of a rocket nose cone

      Hello everyone,

I have been getting some troubles to mesh the tip of a rocket's nose cone. I need to run a  3-D CFD simulation with turbulent flow at supersonic speed and I cannot get a good quality due to the tip of the cone. I attach some picture of the geometry. Thanks for the help.

There are certain videos on youtube about hex mesh for airfoil.

use similar strategy for this model as well.

you can use symmetry instead of full model.

      Regards,

      Keyur

Is there a way to make a structure mesh out of it?

If I do symmetry I will not be able to model angle of attack because the flow will not be the same in both symmetry planes right?

if it makes angle to y axis only then symmetry can handle it.
