Hi,
I am trying to do a mesh convergence study with a impulse point loading. The input energy, keeps on increasing as the element size decreases and my solution is not able to converge.I am looking at dispcaments and strains way from the point of singularity too. Is there a way I can make the input energy the same without having to change the impulse or any other approcah for such kind of convergence study?
Regards,
Manny

Hi,
Do you think that point loading may be causing this issue? What if you distribute the loading to a small area?
