SubscriberHi,nWhen performing a mesh convergence study - how do you determine the suitable element sizes to test?nIn my study - I have gotten very accurate results with a mesh size of 0.07 so I I was going to try out for example mesh sizes of 0.05, 0.09, 0.1, 0.5 to show that it gets better towards 0.07 or is there a specific methodology?nThanks n -

SubscribernA recommended method is to have the element size change by a constant ratio. The ratio can be between 1.3 and 2.0. Then you should plot the maximum stress vs element size and see when the size gets small enough to have a clear trend line toward a zero element size.n
