SubscriberHello every body.
I am using Fluent meshing to mesh a tube. I need to use periodic boundary condition in fluent for inlet and outlet of the tube.
Before I used Ansys meshing, I used match control to matches the mesh on two surface(Inlet and Outlet). But now I can not find match control in Fluent meshing . Is there any other option in Fluent meshing that match 2 surface mesh?
Many Thanks
Fatemeh

SubscriberMany Thanks Keyur.
I tried to use the method on the video but the error occurs.
The geometry is a tube that I want to use periodic boundary condition for inlet and outlet. (So it is not a rotational periodic boundary condition,it is transnational.)
The screen shot of the error has been attached.

Ansys EmployeeMake sure your geometry is topologically periodic. Also if automatic is not working, try manual option.

SubscriberHi, I have a similar issue.
I have 2 different fluids in the same geometry with two different inlet & outlet boundary conditions. How can I apply periodic boundary conditions for both? (In Ansys meshing, match control would save me)
With the help of your suggested video, I tried applying, but I could apply for only one!Â
Thank you:)

Forum ModeratorYou can't. Periodic is for one flow stream only.Â
