SubscriberOn my current machine, I have an 8 core CPU (Intel i7-5960X CPU @ 3.00 GHz) and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 GPU with 34 GB memory. Does anyone know how can I configure lumerical FDTD to utilize the GPU resources? -

Ansys EmployeeThe Ansys Optics Knowledge Base (KB) has all the resources for Lumerical and Zemax. See this KB for more information on running FDTD on GPU

Ansys EmployeeOn Lumerical 2025 R2 releases, opening / running FDTD for the first time has the resources configuration showing both the CPU and GPU resources. If you have the licenses required by your GPU, you simply select GPU when running the simulation. See screenshots below take from KB >> Getting started with running FDTD on GPU – Ansys Optics
Checking on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 specs (Feb 2014), this only has 4 SMs. I am not sure it would be a good GPU to run your simulations on vs CPU.===================================================================
