I am simulating PCW and extracting its purcell factor. Just like in this publication: Alisa Javadi, Sahand Mahmoodian, Immo Söllner, and Peter Lodahl, "Numerical modeling of the coupling efficiency of single quantum emitters in photonic-crystal waveguides," J. Opt. Soc. Am. B 35, 514-522 (2018). I want to use Dirichlet boundary condition. Is this possible to do using lumerical FDTD. Or is there any other boundary condition analogous to this?

Ansys EmployeeFDTD directly solves the Maxwell's equations so its boundary conditions are the Dirichlet BC. What you can use is the PML which is used to truncate the simulation volume. Please refer to the two basic boundary conditions:
