SubscriberContinuing from the thread: LS-RUN freezing issue,      https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/forums/topic/ls-run-freezing/
Additional clues: When running the LS-DYNA solver alone, everything works fine. However, when submitting a job via LS-RUN, the system freezes.
The desktop is an Alienware with an Intel® Core™ i9-14900KF processor and an NVIDIA RTX 4090 graphics card. A Dell technician suggested that the issue might be due to processor incompatibility.

Ansys EmployeeHello Shawn,
I thought that resetting the computer to factory settings solved the problem.
You already have a workaround; running LS-DYNA using command lines in command prompt. So, this means that the LS-DYNA solver works on this machine and processors.
LS-RUN is a very light application; all it does is it takes the input from the LS-RUN GUI and converts it into the command line in the "Preview" field. Then, LS-RUN sends the command line to the shell in the background.Â

Ansys EmployeeHello Shawn,
Run the "net use" command in command prompt and post the output here.
I am in contact with the LS-RUN developer for this problem and he said the following: "What did the "net use" give? Would be interesting to see if there is any difference in the output before and after the factory reset."
Â
Thanks,
Â
