Hi everyone, I am using Ls-Dyna Workbench. The simulation consists of a first step in which a wire is deformed, and a second step (added with a full restart) in which the deformed wire is deployed inside a hollow body. I would insert multiple wires inside the same body (from ten to twenty wires) so i need to repeat these simulations many times. Do you have any suggestions for how perform it?
Thank you in advance,Â
Camilla

HiÂ
With simple restart or with any restart type, you cannot add geometries in the LS-Dyna workbench.Â
Think again if you are considering the full restart, as it penalizes the computation time and efficiency.Â
Instead, use the DYNAIN file method to do sequential analysis.Â
It depends on how these ten to twenty wires are inserted in sequel or in one go.Â
Cheers, RamÂ

Hi Ram, thank you for your suggestion!
The wires need to be inserted in sequel, so each wire will interact with the previously deployed wires. Is it possibile do model with the dynain file you mentioned? Sorry but I've never used dynain files before
thank you again
