LS-DYNA Impact Analysis

      Hi, I was doing an impact analysis in LS-DYNA Workbench. I am giving pressure value to a rod to impact outer body. However, when I add velocity the model works truly. When I add pressure bodies penetrate. I checked the contacts. I am using keywords and I am sure that they are correct. What can be the problem?

      Is there a significant difference in impact velocity between these two cases? Could you please share your contact parameters? Also, are you using mass scaling?

      Hi Alex,

      There is no significant difference between 2 cases' impact velocity. I am not using mass scaling. I cannot directly share my contacts but I am using program controlled formulation for my both bonded and frictionless contacts.
