Hello, I'm forcing the following problem. I'm trying to simulate condensation on the surface of the heat exchanger. I tried VOF and Mixture multiphase, but evrey time Water. Volume Fraction is close to zero. Can anyone suggest why? Temperature of surface is -20 C, temperature of water vapor is 4 C, external walls are pressure-inlet. Simulation before is VOF after 60s.

Hi Andrei,

The low value of water condensate indicates that the condensation is not significant. This is a possible scenario.

Rate of condensation depend on,

1. The amount of moisture in the flow. In case if the amount is less then there will be less condensation.
2. The phase change parameter used in the simulation. Increasing this parameter will generate more condensation effect.
