Hello there,
I have an assembly consisting of bolts which is vibrating due to its operational loading. I have to predict the loosening of bolts. I certainly know it can't be done directly in CAE but it can be interpreted using parameters like conatact pressure, bolt pre-tension, axial displacement, etc,. The question is what value of these parameters must be taken as a threshold that will signify the initiation of loosening. If anyone has done this before or has any research paper or any reference, please let me know.
ThanksÂ
Dinesh

Hi Dinesh,
You can choose the parameters like - Contact pressure, contact gap, and Number of Contacting elements:
18.9.1. Structural Result Trackers
