I have a client server type license for ansys 17. Recently, I couldn't work in ansys design modeler and meshing in server system (It works perfectly fine in client licence system). It says that AnsysWBU.exe encountered a problem and a diagnostic file has been written. Kindly guide me to rectify this. Thank you. When I posted a query regarding this in ansys community months ago, I were redirected here. Kindly help me rectify this.

Hi,
The ntdll.dll error is a generic error, please follow this link ntdll.dll Application Error - Microsoft Community
Can you try to rename .ansys (%temp%) to .ansys.old and Ansys folder (%appdata%) to Ansys.old folder, relaunch the application.

hello mam, I tried renaming ansys files as you have mentioned, but, it didn't help me out. I am still facing the error "AnsysWBC.exe encountered a problem and a diagnostic file has been written", whenever I open design modeler.
