As shown in the PDF you havn't installed the license file which ANSYS should have send you per mail.
Im curious, did you order a Floating license or a perpetual? -

SubscriberHello, I believe the issue is the license manager is trying to run the ANSYS Licensing Interconnect without FlexNet. I need to select the default setting, but I do not know what path to select the License File to Install? See attached.? Forum ModeratorHello Ben Czajkowski It looks like you have a Subscription license. Is that correct? If so, you don't need to run the license manager as your license will be verified online upon login. Please follow the instructions on this page to switch the licensing mode to Subscription. After that is done, please launch Discovery, when a login is prompted please login with your details for license verification. -

SubscriberThanks for your help with this, I do have a subscription, and my Licensing Mode Manager is set to Subscription. This is the error that I am receiving when I attempt to start up Discovery, see attached.? Forum ModeratorHello Ben Czajkowski Can you please try reinstalling Discovery with "Run as Administrator"? It looks like an issue with your install. If this does not resolve the issue, please go through #6 in the Troubleshooting Document and share the files as mentioned there.
