This licensing issue has been resolved now. We have updated the package with a new inbuilt annual license key. If you get a warning indicating the license is expiring soon then please uninstall the product and redownload it from here: ansys.com/student

I can't access Ansys electronics student version, the error that comes up is

"Failover feature 'Ansys electronics_desktop' is not available.

Request name electronics_desktop does not exist in the licensing pool.

Feature has expired.

and I uninstalled it, redownloaded the installation files and reinstalled it

Well, it's now April so the 31st of March has passed. 2022R1 is available, not sure why there's not a prior release though.

I have the same problem as monakamel. Since today the Ansys Electronics Desktop Student shows the failure "Failover feature 'Ansys electronics_desktop' is not available.Request name electronics_desktop does not exist in the licensing pool. Feature has expired. Feature electronics_desktop Expire date 31-mar-2022 License path".

I already uninstalled an installed the software with reboot, but the problem stays. At the Website student download-section is a given "(Built-in license valid until 07/31/22)", but the software didn't work. Can you help us?

Then please report back here in the forum when this license error will be corrected.

I use Ansys EM for education and it should be working for students for the semester assignment.
