That looks like either pathlines or particle tracks. How was the laser implemented in the paper?

In the paper, the method for this simulation is the laser-powder bed energy coupling is implemented by a ray-tracing algorithm.

OK, and how did you plan on doing that in Fluent? We can't post process light rays like that.Â
