Large Deflection ON or OFF for Brittle Material

      Greetings,

Large Deflection should be ON or OFF to simulate brittle material , Which is the best practice . i am using a multi linear model (got from mechanical testing of specimens) for brittle material

i am finding big difference in results with Large Deflection ON and OFF.

I need your advice , Thanks in Advance.

with large deflection ON, I am getting following warning messages
1.Large deformation effects are active which may have invalidated some of your applied supports such as displacement, cylindrical, frictionless, or compression only.Refer to Troubleshooting in the Help System for more details.
2..Moment summations are based upon the displaced mesh since large deflection is in effect (NLGEOM,ON).
can you explain why this messages are being showed, if you want additional information about my simulation, i can tell.
