K-Omega-SST Setup

      Hey guys,

I'm setting up a k-omega sst model for my work and i have to visualise the temperature fields in the boundary layer. As you can see in the image 1 and 2, the boundary layer has all the way up the same colour. If I look at the velocity countour it's way more colourful just the way as it shall be. But why do I not see some temeprature fields? The Energy is on, the thermal effects are all on.It's 278,15K outside incoming flow with 18 m/s, and the airfoil has an angle of attack of 8 degrees. The temperature of the airfoil is also 278,15K.

Is there something i can improve?

      Thanks in advance!

      Hello
As you have mentioned that the incoming flow and the airfoil are both at the same temperature it is expected that there will be a single value of temperature throughout (no temperature gradient, no heat transfer) as represented by the blue colour (278.15K). Try raising the temperature of airfoil to a higher value.

      Regards

      Hi Kishan,
to raise the temperature of the airfoil will get me my temperature fields and a more colorful contour, but this isnt the task.
The task is to visualize the temperature fields in the boundary layer due to friction. I used in my settings for this an adiabatic wall with a thickness of 3mm. I made sure that the energy and the viscous heating is enabled. and the value for my dT should be something like 0,2K but if i run the simulation it is about 2,2K ?
      why is that so?
      Thanks in advance!
