Issues with the the script usr_reflection_angled and stackrt

      Hi,I have encountered a problem with the script.

      why

      RT = stackrt([1;2],[0;0],f(i),theta1);

      If [0; 0] represents the thickness of air and a dielectric layer with n=2, why is the thickness of the dielectric layer zero?

      Dear Subscriber,

      The first and last layers define the media before and after the stack. Their thicknesses represent the distances for the plane wave source and monitor. In cases without absorption, their thicknesses do not affect the results, so they can be set to 0. Please refer to the following article: STACK - Simulation Object.

      In this specific case, since there are only two layers and one interface between them, both thicknesses are set to 0. Feel free to change them; this should not affect the results.

      Best regards,
      Kirill
