Issue installing the ansys 18.2

  Hi all,
  
  I have been trying to install ansys 18.2 onto my laptop. I downloaded the two disks from my school website, and ran as administrator the setup.exe. I left the default settings for the path. During the installation process I selected the second disk when prompted
  
  I will attach the error log if anyone can take a look?

  Have you tried moving the 'unzipped' installation package to C drive , then run the 'setup.exe' with 'run as admin' from there ?
  
  If issue persists, please post the content of 'install.log' and 'install.err' files in this post, don't attach the files.

  So I put the unzipped files, disk1 & 2 in my local C drive. I tried run as administrator from the setup.exe and tried installing again and the same issue occurred.

  Thanks for the log. Can you check if Disk 2 is mounted correctly ? Also, please right click on Disk 2 iso file -> Properties , then post the screenshot of it here.

  aha ! That's the issue.
  
  The size of the disk 2 is not correct.
  
  You are supposed to have
  
  4.03 GB (4,329,308,160 bytes)
  
  on the 'Size:' line.
  
  Please check your school website again. Not sure if it's the issue when you download from it. Or your IT upload it incompletely.

  I see this makes sense now. I redownloaded the second disk and now its giving me 4227840 bytes instead of the full amount. I will contact my schools IT department and see how to resolve this with them. If I get the full files and there are further issues I will let you know.
