Is there a way to use the end state of a simulation as the start of a new simulation with new BCs?

I am currently using a rigid body to deform a flexible shell geometry. I am deforming the flexible body by displacing the rigid body.

I would then like to use the end point of that simulation as a starting point for my second step. In the second step I would like both bodies to be flexible. With the body that was rigid now expanding under pressure to deform the shell geometry further.

Is this possible with workbench LS-Dyna. If it is please can someone advise me on the best practices.

      Thanks in advance,

      Ben

One suggestion is instead of having two setups, why not model two bodies? Keep one rigid and another one flexible. Keep the contact with the rigid body active during the first part and activate the contact with the flexible part when you want to deform the body to apply the pressure. You may need to activate/ deactivate contact and may be activate and deactivate displacement as well.

Great idea. Thank you so much. Will model it now !
