We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

Is multiphase necessary for combustion with liquid propellants?

I want the liquid fuel and oxidizer to flow through the injectors into the domain and combust. Do I need multiphase? Split into seperate cell zones? Should I just add the liquids to the mixture? If so how do I specify how density is calculated. Ideal gas wouldn't work anymore. I have read a few papers that did similar things and didnt use multiphase but its unclear to me why its not necesary

If the injected material is a liquid it'll need to evaporate to then burn, so you will need a multiphase model with phase change to handle this part of the set up. You'd then need species models on the gas side to handle the reaction and both reactants and product species.  Note, this will not be a trivial calculation as if you don't get the phase change working well there won't be anything to react.
