Hello,
I was wondering if LSDYNA was truly not available on workbench student and had to be accessed via pre-post and LSrun?
I read this was true in https://innovationspace.ansys.com/forum/forums/topic/ls-dyna-installation-issues-with-student-workbench-2024-r2/
If this post is correct then why is LSDYNA available on workbench (screenshot taken on student 2024r2)?

Kind regards -

Ansys EmployeeHello User,
Yes, indeed workbench LS-DYNA is not available in the student version. There are internal licensing changes, and the student product team couldn't offer the LS-DYNA solver because of those challenges. We are constantly working to bring Workbench LS-DYNA back into the student package.Â
You will still see the LS-DYNA extension in the workbench, but the package does not have LS-DYNA solver executables. Please feel free to use LSPP to pre and post-process your models. Please let us know if you need specific help accessing/using LSPP.
Regards,
Nanda.
