SubscriberHello! nI am new with Ansys software, and I have a question about the capabilities of the student version. nIs it possible to use the SPH on the Explicit Dynamics system with the Free Student Software? nI read some papers regarding simulation of the impact between two plates and most of them uses SPH. So, I would like to try to do some simple simulations in order to understand better these simulations. It does not need to be sophisticated simulation (I know the Student Version has some limitations and I will not be able to reproduce these simulations completely), I would like just to have an idea on how to simulate these cases.nnThanks!!n -

Ansys EmployeeAnsys student bundled applications includes Ansys Mechanical and Ansys Autodyn, so you would be able to use SPH solver with Ansys Explicit dynamics, the limitation is Structural Physics: 32K nodes/elements and Fluid physics: 512K cells/nodes, you can find more details here:nWish this answers your questions.nn
