Is ANSYS Fluent solve Favre averaged Navier Stokes Equations in any model?

  I am running a compressible flow of fluid through a vertical pipe. I want to know if Favre averaging is done in density-based approach?

  Yes, for density based solver fluent uses Favre averaging for continuity, momentum, and energy equation
