One thing to try would be to perform a Steady-state thermal analysis or a Transient Thermal analysis to get the temperature distribution. Then create a Static Structural analysis and connect the Results cell of thermal analysis to Setup cell of structural analysis. This will import the temperature distribution from the thermal analysis to the structural analysis. nIf relevant material properties are defined in the structural analysis (i.e. coefficient of thermal expansion, plasticity model etc.) then you should be able to get the thermal residual stresses.nnHope this helps,nSain
