SubscriberGood day!
I am a researcher at my university and I am using Ansys for my research work. Our university has a license for Ansys, but it does not include Ansys Speos in the package. When I asked our IT coordinator, they said that our Ansys license only covers the following: Mechanical, fluent, cfx, electronics. Therefore, I am planning to use the Ansys Student software for Speos.Â
I would like to inquire about the possibility of using Ansys Speos (Student License) for publication purposes.
I would greatly appreciate any advice or information that you can provide on this matter. If Ansys Speos (Student License) is not suitable for publication purposes, please let me know what options are available to me.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Official line is you can’t use Student for publications. It’s for learning, not to replace University software. So, don’t do it otherwise it’ll get messy. It's covered here  https://www.ansys.com/academic/terms-and-conditions#tab1-4 Â
However… Ask your IT person to contact us, big button on ansys.com to discuss options. That’s a much more pleasant conversation with the sales/academic team, I can’t say who as it’ll depend on your location.Â
