  Which version is that (number as in 2020R1) and type as in Student (free) or off the University network.

  Weird, I installed it yesterday on my home PC (I know, I need to get out more) and it worked fine. Are there any odd characters in your user ID or installation folder path? I assume you installed as Admin?

  I did change the installation path, yeah it was as admin

  On your PC: ie if your path is username is "Cygnus" or something with nonASCII characters.
