SubscriberHi everyone,
I want to model a simple linear generator using a coil and a permanent magnet, where the magnet is moved back and forth by a sinusoidal force.
I'm new using Ansys so I appreciate any help, guidance, or link to any tutorial you could give me.

Forum ModeratorHi echaljub,
Using Ansys Maxwell will help you simulate the linear generator electromagnetics.
1. If you are new, I suggest you to first understand how to set up a maxwell simulation. You can refer to the inbuilt getting started guides from help section as shown below.

2. Refer to the inbuilt examples. File>open examples>Maxwell
3. visit Ansys Innovation Courses | Ansys Innovation Space for more learning.Regards,
Navya

Hello echaljub,
Please go to menu File > open examples, RMxprt folder > afpm to find afbldc example, to build Maxwell 2D model. It will show a linear machine.Â
