iMUSIG setup in CFX

I am trying to set up an iMUSIG polydispersed model in CFX. I want to have 2 velocity groups with 12 size groups in each. I define water as the continuous phase and air1 &air2 as polydispersed phases. For air1 I set the diameter range 0-6mm, air2 has 6-12mm size groups.

Does CFX automatically couple the two velocity groups, as in coalescence of velocity group 1 into velocity group 2. If not, how do I set it up?

When I run my current setup as described it solves fine but I am getting 90% size fraction in the largest bubble size of velocity group 1 and essentially no mass moving into velocity group 2.

      Hello,
Did you setup the Breakup and Coalescence models in the Polydispersed Fluids tab?
You can get more information from the link below.

If defined as polydisperse phase with imusig then intra-mass transfer mechanisms are taken into account if as Surya mentioned you are enabling them.

I had Breakup and coalescence activated.
I think I found my problem. I was using 19.2 version and there was only MUSIG in the drop down menu. I switched to 20.1 and now there is an option for iMUSIG.

      Thank you for the help.

      iMUSIG was a beta feature
