SubscriberHello
I am having some issues with ANSYS Spaceclaim and importing IGES files. Im currently working on designing a frame for my FSAE team so I have been importing the frame sketch geometry from Solidworks to ANSYS Spaceclaim as an IGES file. In the past the 3D sketch of the frame will import with a bunch of surfaces for each frame tube. But now only the surfaces will import and I cannot see the 3D sketch anymore.
I need to have the 3D sketches for this simulation because I need to be able to apply tube size and material to sections of the frame.
It has worked for me in the past which is why I am confused. I tried multiple different frame files and all of them will not import or display any of the 3d sketches in ANSYS Spaceclaim.
Is there a display option that I could be missing or something within the IGES settings?
When I export the frame file from Solidworks as an IGES, I made sure to check the box that says "export 3d sketch entities"
Thanks
