SubscriberDear all,Â
I am trying to use a .csv file to importe force loads into a mechanical model. The "Imported Load" folder has been automatically cretaed.
The external file has a column that contains the modules of 3 forces. How can specify the components of each force (x, y , z) and the location of the faces (RED) where each force applies?
What steps should I follow to fix this?Â
Thanks in advanced -

SubscriberDear Akshay,Â
Thank you very much for your response.ÂWhen working with pressure values (always normal to the surface where the pressure is applied), the steps to follow are well described in the document attached to the link. However, I am interested in working with forces (not always normal to the surface). Forces are vectorial magnitudes, therefore, force vectorial components (x, y, z) need to be specify. How can that be done?
Thanks in advanced.Â

Ansys EmployeeHi Miguel,
You can select the components after you import the force values in mechanical. Please check the below image.
