November 10, 2020 at 8:25 pmsolovievSubscriberHello,nI was just wondering if I can import a profile with NaN or missing data values into Fluent?.Thanks,nAlexn

November 11, 2020 at 11:25 amRobForum ModeratorThe profile is a boundary condition, what data is missing? Profiles interpolate to the location they're used, but the data needs to exist in the file to import as there are checks against the number of data points. n

November 11, 2020 at 3:22 pmsolovievSubscriberWe are importing a matrix of data, that has values assigned at x,y,z coordinates, but some of these points do not have values, of have NaNs. I guess we're wondering if Fluent can import and interpolate with these values missing? nThanks,nAlexn

November 11, 2020 at 4:58 pmsolovievSubscriberWe actually tested loading a profile in with both an NaN and a blank value and fluent notified us that the data couldn't be read due to errors. Thanks,nAlexn

November 11, 2020 at 5:00 pmRobForum ModeratorIt'll receive the data as is and I'm not sure it'll react well to missing values. The profile interpolation is fairly dumb so should throw an error rather than adding random values to the boundary. n
