I cannot seem to be able to separate the two surfaces that share the common edge and make them 2 different bodies (as shown in the second picture). That probably ruins the meshing process later on.Â
I created different sketches for each rectangular and drew the same edge twice but when I tried to turn them into surfaces the shape become one. When I did one sketch and tried to separate them through Boolean or FaceSplit, they kept appearing as one body - one part. -

Forum ModeratorEach sketch would be a separate surface. You then create a multibody part before moving to Meshing. Make sure to create as Frozen.Â
