I don't know how to set up grinding simulation. I used friction contact. I'm interested in the stresses and strains in the tool, but I also want to see if I can run a short simulation with material removal, if any. I want to simulate a fixed rotating grinding wheel where a long piece is in contact and there is an angle between the tool and the workpiece. I am currently using the Display Dynamics module in ANSYS. I've managed to run n explicit dynamic simulations and only show material erosion in the tool. My question is, how to cause material erosion of the work piece. If anyone could provide me with some ideas or instructions on how to proceed, I'd be very grateful! -
