I'm having some trouble downloading LS-PrePost.
Every time I try to connect to the FTP server, I get the following error:Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/lsprepost/" on this server.

SubscriberHi Nanda, are they going to allow access to the old FTP site or are those gone forever?  It would be really great to not remove access to those...

SubscriberHi Dennis,
The old FTP will not come back for any user, due to legal reasons.

SubscriberDear David,
I am experiencing the same issue when attempting to access the FTP server. When I try to connect, I receive the following error message:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/lsprepost/" on this server.I also followed the link you provided to the LS-DYNA download portal:
https://download.ansys.com/ls-dyna
However, the portal now requires user registration and an authorization code before allowing access to the files.
Could you please clarify whether these resources are no longer available for public free download, and whether an authorized account or license is now required to access LS-PrePost and related files?
I would appreciate any guidance you can provide regarding the current download procedure.
Thank you very much for your assistance. I look forward to your reply.
Best regards
Alex -

SubscriberHello Piece,
Only the resource for downloading has changed. And this ansys download center can only be accessed if you have a registered account. I guess there's no change to the free tools. They will continue to be free.Regards,
Nanda
