SubscriberHello!
Tension/compression tests were performed for a material. The stress-strain diagrams turned out to be nonlinear, but the material remained elastic until fracture. Moreover, the material has the property of the difference between tensile and compressive moduli of elasticity.
I would like to model 3 point bending test on Ansys and compare with the experiment. For this purpose, I need to set in Ansys a different nonlinear-elastic law for compression and tension using a discrete set of data points (obtained from experiments). How can I do that?
