  Elements for Fluent must be linear. If you mesh in Fluent Meshing, there is nothing to select, it will only create linear elements. If you mesh in the Ansys Mesh component, in the Details of Mesh, the Physics Preference defaults to Mechanical and Element Order to Program Controlled. Change the Physics Preference to CFD. The Element Order setting will disappear and it will create linear elements for Fluent.
