      How to represent the stress of irregular waves on objects in AQWA in a cloud map. It seems to use APDL. But how to import apdl I don't understand

      Hi, you can consider using the Hydrodynamics Pressure Add-on to load the pressure calculated in Aqwa to Static Structural and do a stress analysis in Static Structure. More details about the Hydrodynamics Pressure Add-on can be found in Aqwa User's Manual Section 8.1. Also, if you have access to Ansys Learning Hub, in Aqwa training materials, there are lecture and workshop slides on this subject.

      Thank you, I understand, but I want to produce shear with the result of the time domain, but the static structure tells me that there is no pressure result file for the production time domain, and where is this result file generated? Not found

      Hi, please first make sure you can view the Time Domain Pressure results in the Aqwa Hydrodynamic Response analysis. The results that will be transferred to Static Structural are there. Then once the link has been created correctly between the Hydrodynamic Diffraction/time domain Hydrodynamic Response and Static Structural systems, it is always necessary to right-click the Hydrodynamic Solution cell and select Update. This operation manages the transfer of data files between the analyses. Note when some hydrodynamic data has already been imported into the Static Structural system, and the Hydrodynamic Solution is subsequently updated, the Static Structural Setup cell must be refreshed. In Mechanical, it is essential to click the Hydrodynamic Pressure object after this Refresh operation to utilize the new hydrodynamic data.

      Hi, again, this is usually either due to HD Analysis has not been connected to Static Structure correctly, or the solution sell of HD has not been updated and Static Structural cell has not been refreshed.

      The forces due to the additional damping will not be transferred to static structural, however, the structure acceleration which will be transferred to static structural to calculate the dynamic forces is calculated with the effect of the additional damping. This is the reason for the warning message.

      Material properties and geometry decide the mass of the bodies in Static Structural. 

      Not quite understand what is happening in the picture, however, if there is no option in the UI to turn it off, then it means it cannot be turned off. Please check the User's Manual for more information.
