hello every one,
I did my compression test on my model and i have my data form forece_displacement. after simulating in Ansys , i can only plot plasticity, but i cant access to fracture and can not plot the same curve as experimental.
I extract my plasticity data from a reference stress strain curve and change them to true data and used multilinear isotropic hardening to input them to Ansys.
how can i get the curve like experimental?
My material is Ti6Al4V and i attached my figure here, also my material that i defined as a new material in Ansys.
please guide me.
thanks in advance

This process gives me a force-displacement( the black line). My problem is about how to simulate fraction. If you see my figure that I uploaded above, in 8% strain sample broke and the force-displacement curve falls down. and some distortion and ups and down can be seen in this curve. I don't know how to make close my figure to the experimental one. nI can just simulate up to the plastic region and I do not know how to simulate the fracture section. Can you guide me on how can I don't that section in ansys?nShould I add sth related to fracture analysis to static structural analysis?.Viewing 2 reply threads- The topic ‘how to plot stress strain curve like experimental vurve’ is closed to new replies.
