SubscriberHi,nHow to find the best fan blade shape and number of fan blades for a particular application? learned Ansys fluent gradient optimization but still unclear. The last option is of designxplorer but it requires a lot of computational expense and still doesn't direct intuitively as with adjoint solver with sensitivity analysis. are there any better ways to optimize fan geometry?nThanks in advancen -

Ansys EmployeeHello, nYou might want to check the freely downloadable ACT extension with Fluent called Automatic Shape Optimization V3 Check link :https://catalog.ansys.com/product/5caf4f8d393ff61f6854f55f/automatic-shape-opnYou can use Adjoint solver with this ACT extension. nIf you have access to our ANSYS Customer Portal, then please have a look at this example :https://support.ansys.com/AnsysCustomerPortal/en_us/Knowledge+Resources/Solutions/FLUENT/2054850nRegards,nSDn
