SubscriberAfter I ran my Fluent solver in Fluent-->Setup, I can plot or export some parameters such as "Absolute Pressure" or "Wall Yplus" like shown the following pictures. Yet here in the "Fluent-->Setup-->Results" section, I can only plot XY plot. I didn't find where I can plot the contour plot. I tried to do the contour plot of these parameters in the postprocessing section "Fluent-->Results", yet these two parameters are not available.Â
Does anyone know how I can do the contour plot for "Absolute Pressure" and "Wall Yplus"?

AdministratorContour plot option can be found under Results -> Graphics -> Contours. Could you please try this and let us know if you are able to plot the contours?
Thanks.

SubscriberHello Karthik,
Thank you! This helps!!
But I would like to ask if this is doable in the following way? Because I created most of my contour plots this way. Yet I could not find Wall Yplus and Absolute Pressure. Why these parameters are not included here? Did I do it incorrectly?

AdministratorHello,
Please try and save the Fluent files as a cdat file. You should be able to find this from 'File -> Export -> Solution Data'. Please see the screenshot below.
Once you write them, you should be able to read them using CFD post. You should see the parameters your are interested in.
I hope this helps.
Best,
Karthik

SubscriberThank you Karthik!
I thought all the parameters should by default be listed in CFD-post so users can easily plot them. Seems it's not that case. But what you suggested works. Thank you for your help.

Alex
