SubscriberI am currently running a simulation of open channel in a numerical wave tank for modelling of offshore waves as shown in Figure given below.Â

I am simulating a 2D tank so I am unable to generate ISO-surface. Only Iso clip can be created for the VOF=0.5. Can you please send me some links where I can find the solution of my problem. Also please provide more details about 'up' and 'across' coordinate.nNovember 17, 2020 at 9:31 amRob
Forum ModeratorUp and across will be x & y coordinates. nAs you're in 2d that means you're using Fluent, so we can extract all the data directly during the run. Create vertical lines at each monitor position and use iso-clip to create a point at the free surface. Report the position of that. If you click on Help in Fluent you'll be taken to the documentation and, more usefully for you, a load of tutorials & how-to videos. Do the tutorials & watch the videos. nMay 8, 2023 at 9:48 pmchakrachand
SubscriberHello Rob, I am also having similar issue. I am able to plot the x & y but I want to plot for x & y for whole running time. Actually I want to see the elevation wave elevations with time passing on. Can you provide me some references where I can look for?Â
Thank You
