How to extract RMS in random vibration+ Acceleration output

      Hello,

I'm performing random vibration analysis on a simple structure, my base excitation is G acceleration, for the output result, I request acceleration. The unit is (mm/s^2)^2/Hz, do I need to divide it by 9.81 to get (G^2/Hz)?

Also, how can I extract Grms for both output and input excitation?

Please show the Tabular data for the PSD input for the base acceleration.

      Thank you for your response.

      Here is the PSD response:

      6.5 GRMS

Do you have matlab?  If so, download vibrationdata.

There is also a version for Python, which is free.

Thank you very much Peter. One more question, I divide acceleration PSD output by g^2 to get G acceleration PSD. Is that correct?

Please study the material on this webpage.
