can you please suggest how to do the decomposition of the Electric dipole (ED) and magnetic dipole (MD) effect from the spectra? Is it possible through Lumerical?

      As it is done here.

This may need multipole decomposition. Please refer:

You may also need to get more information from the paper and its references.

I think this will help you

Thank you very much. I will try to do the decomposition.

Do you know how to calculate the relative phase between the dipoles or higher order poles?

You have to expand the fields into different poles.

Guilin Sun, can you do the multipole decomposition of Si nano sphere through Lumerical as an example and also the phase calculation.

Unfortuately I cannot as Lumerical does not have such a function. You can search online for multi-pole decomposition. You may find a free software if you are lucky.
