Hello.
Here is a simple question. I would like to define gravity by manually entering the vector components, however I cannot find the way to do so. After inseting a "standard earth gravity", Ansys only allows me to set the direction of gravity by selecting one of the global axses:
The components are grayed out, how can I edit the components?
Also, since I was not able to manually define the direction of gravity, I tried using an acceleration instead. Acceleration does allow to enter components. However it seems acceleration causes the opposite motion in the bodies. For instance when I enter an acceleration pointing to -Y, objects accelerate to +Y instead. Why is this?Â
Thanks in advance.

However if you want to apply it in a certain direction - you can always define a coordinate system where on of the axes is parallel to your vector and use that to define the gravity load.Â
And regarding the acceleration direction it is intended to be like that to represent the physics properly.
For more information on this check out these help links which explain them with examples
